Week 1: Halloween and Spirit Week Photos, election, activism, first day of school pictures, Makin' It and foundation events, students in chieftain gear

Week 2: Students at home distance learning setups, quarantine makeovers (hair, clothes, style), community service, home fitness, social media and Tik Tok

Week 3: summer activities and travel, social distance hangouts, cute masks, arts and crafts, Thanksgiving

Week 4: sports photos (football, field hockey, cross country), theatre and thespians

Week 5: academy photos, music, band and instruments, jobs and small businesses, favorite hobbies, video games

The CHS Foundation is challenging the Clairemont Community to make a Chieftain Pledge and help support the students and staff of CHS.

The Covid-19 crisis is a reminder, in so many ways, of the interconnected, interdependent world we inhabit, and how critical collaboration and creativity are needed to address today’s challenges and support each other. While Clairemont High School remains closed due to Covid-19, and all CHS sports, events and programs are currently on hold, our volunteer work continues to support our amazing students, our fabulous school, and our local Clairemont community - in new, creative and virtual ways. Now, more than ever, we are devoted to our students, their enrichment, and their future success by being prepared to fund grants, sponsorships, scholarships and so much more when the time to reopen our doors arrives! Check back with us often to see what fun activities we have planned during the closure to engage our students and community!

The CHS Admin team will be hosting a virtual Coffee with the Admin Team on the first Thursday of every month. These Zoom meetings will be held from 8:00 am to 9:00 am and will provide families with an opportunity to hear updates from the admin team and engage in some informal Q&A about all things Clairemont. IT'S SENIOR WEEK - ORDER BY THIS FRIDAY, DECEMBER 4 ONLINE (jostens.com) OR AT THE JOSTENS POWAY SHOWROOM TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF EARLY ORDER DISCOUNT PRICING, including a promotional price to keep your cap and gown unit for only $20 (normally $40) which is good this week only (contact info below)!

It's time to order your cap & gown ($20 this week only, price is reflected on all packages and individually), class jewelry, graduation announcements, and senior apparel. This year ordering will be done a little different, so please check out the video below for information on how to order.

Dec 7-13th is Computer Science Education Week! Did you know that less than half of US High Schools teach computer science? But Clairemont High School does! To promote computer science education for ALL students, Clairemont High School is hosting an Hour of Code. We challenge all students, staff and families to join us and 100 million students around the world for an Hour of Code! You can participate individually, with your friends, as a class, a family or with Mrs. Samora and the APCSP class during 2 scheduled Zooms.
