About Me
Hi, I'm Ms. Kuncz better known on campus as Ms. K! .I received my Bachelor of Arts in American Studies and History at U.C. Davis, where I also received my Masters of Education. I also have my Single Subject credentials in Social Science and English along with my GATE certification. This will be my seventh year teaching in San Diego Unified School District and my sixth year teaching At Roosevelt International Middle School where I have the pleasure of teaching 6th grade Individuals & Societies and Language & Literature again. Throughout my teaching experiences, I have thoroughly enjoyed my time in the classroom both at the high school and middle school level. I have embraced the challenge of making Social Science and English relatable, interesting, and relevant to my students while also embedding the Common Core Standards and I.B. philosophy. In my spare time I enjoy theater, music, and community involvement, all of which I love to incorporate in my teaching career. I'm so excited to get to know all of my students and learn from each other throughout this year!
