Dear Parents,
Welcome to a new school year at Dana! My name is Carmen Miceli, and I am excited to introduce myself as your child’s case manager for their IEP. Although I am new to the Dana community this year, I bring with me 20 years of experience as an educator—and a deep passion for creating supportive, engaging, and inclusive learning environments.
Throughout my career, I’ve found that students thrive most when families and educators work together. That’s why one of my top priorities this year is to build strong, collaborative relationships with you. I truly believe that open and consistent communication is the foundation of student success, and I look forward to partnering with you to support your child’s growth—both academically and personally.
A little about me: I’ve taught a wide range of grade levels and subjects over the years, and each experience has shaped my belief that every child has unique strengths, perspectives, and potential. I am committed to fostering a classroom culture where all students feel seen, heard, and empowered to take risks in their learning.
I’m thrilled to begin this journey with your child and can’t wait to see all the ways they’ll grow this year. Thank you for welcoming me into the Dana community—I look forward to a fantastic year together! Please reach out if you need anything
Warm regards,
Carmen Miceli
