Hi there! We’re the Publicity Team and we ensure everyone is aware of all the amazing events we have at our school! We handle all forms of publicity, from digital to handmade posters, videos, and in-person enagement. We have created numerous posers and digital flyers advertising all upcoming ASB events. If you see a poster around campus, it's probably made by us! There's never a dull moment brainstorming TikTok ideas to writing scripts and drawing posters. We bring a bit of fun into school through the Humans of MEA videos! We also make sure that everyone hears about our events whether it be through the MEA Moment, Ambassador Announcements, the Monday Message, or posters around campus! Our fun interviews posted on the Humans of MEA YouTube Channel aim to bridge community among students, teachers, families, and friends of MEA! We are crucial in ensuring the other teams can run smoothly and publicize their events!

From week 2 monthly events to the Fall Festival, the Events Committee plans many of the fun events open to students throughout the year. As a group, we brainstorm and execute ideas for dances, game nights, Fall Festival, and more! It is our responsibility to provide exciting events to the student body and help increase student engagement.

Hey there! We’re the Spirit and Student Life Committee and we bring a bit of fun into school by planning and executing Student Life events and initiatives, such as spirit month and Humans of MEA! We help out other committees, as well as work on certain events and coordinate prizes for the Fall Festival as well.

Hello! We are the Outreach committee. We focus on reaching out to the members, organizations, businesses and such of the surrounding community to assist in providing aid for underprivileged members of our San Diego community. Our goal is to help expand connections of MEA and work to collaborate with other schools to create a sense of unity amongst student bodies. Our mission is to fight social issues we face in our community through collaboration between the student body and the outside community. We work to establish long lasting connections with organizations to ensure the future success of the school and the surrounding community.
