Note: Scratch is not COPPA compliant. Teachers should get parent permission before setting up a teacher-managed classroom and student accounts.
Teachers Should:
Create a Teacher Account on Scratch (it may take a day or two to get approved).
Make a copy of this Google Sheet.
Watch the video to see how to use the googlesheet to create usernames and passwords for each of the students in your class. At the end you will download these to your computer as a CSV file.
Sign in to Scratch with your teacher approved account.
Create a new class and upload the CSV file with the usernames and passwords you created in step
Have students:
Login to their Scratch account.
Click on the starter code link for the day's project. This will open the project on the Scratch website.
Click on Remix (to the right of the project title) to save their own copy of the project in their account.
4. Student work will automatically be saved to their account.
