Middle School Academic Enrichment

Dear Challenger students and families,

We know this is a time of great uncertainty and that time out of school is very difficult. In an effort to continue supporting learning at home, many of our teachers have updated activities on their Google Classroom, web page and/or blog. Please check your teacher's pages for continued learning opportunities that you can do at home. We have also added ideas to consider in these stressful and unsettled times: mindfulness breathing, yoga poses, short workouts you can do at home, virtual field trips. In addition to distance learning, please use this time to rest and rejuvenate, have fun, read...and read some more, dig out old coloring books and crayons to color or paint, take a nap, pull out a recipe and have your child lead the way in putting it together. This is a stressful time for adults and children; please take care of yourselves, and take time for authentic learning opportunities at home that also invoke creativity and individuality.

We are here for you and will continue to support you. Please check back regularly for ideas and opportunities.
