Virtual team work
Document sharing
Tracking students work
Storing assignments
Communicating via Google classroom
Logging and reporting
What did you find worked well? (what benefited teaching and learning?) :
Students enjoyed using the chromebooks to record their work. They liked the virtual team work and video conferencing.
Students liked knowing that their effort was being individually tracked.
What didn't work well?
Trying to integrate the 2 iPads was too much technology at the one time. Students had enough with just grasping the Chrome books and their full potential.
How was the learners’ experience with using this technology? (e.g. did students find it useful/were they able to use it/enjoyed using it etc.) :
As the survey suggests, students liked the process. They managed to enhance their research skills.
77% liked using the chromebooks. The survey results are attached and explain in more detail.
Do you have any recommendations for future users of these technologies?
Slowly try integrate more iPad use prior to the CBA in regular class.
Any other information you believe is useful.
It was a great experience but many students are not fans of the CBA as a concept overall. It is still new to them.
