which is a small eye i sculpted using foam clay, and it gets animated using micro servo motor and IR sensor, as I really into making animatronics.
so I went searching for the easiest animatronic and i found a very helping tutorial on youtube.
to build and simulate my circuit before making it IRL
To glue cardboard
to wire it all up
to protect LED lights
I'll use it to simulate the movment
for building temporary circuits
To prototype the maquette
as i used it to make the armature for the eye
start by listing all of your components
2.Now let's wire all of it together considering the polarity of every component
p.s. I wired all the rails with the 5v pin and the GND pin so that i can use any of 4 rails to wire
So we will click code to get tis window
start by connecting the ground rail with the ground of power supply and the same with the positive, and I'll connect the other ground rail and the positive too, so that all rails are power connected
3.Then the on\off switch for the LEDs and tis is my final circuit so lets start simulate it to assure that every part of it is functioning
2.started by connecting the on\off switch with the DC motor
4. It is functioning, so i started wiring it the same way in real life.
this week i really wanted to simulate motion by making a small bot at first, but it was pretty hard controlling a DC motor without a very proper functioning gears and encloser, so the carnival ride was the very suitable idea as i had all of its materials and components.
Another problem that i faced was that the DC motor was giving electricity sparks while I was connecting components, and that was because I was using 9 voltage adaptor, which was giving high voltage I needed to replace it with the 5 voltage adaptor, as there was a very high risk that the motor burn, that was a peer advice so always make sure to check any component data sheet.
