"Specialization is for insects"

Making and building stuff was my favorite hobby as far as i could remember. Starting with Lego and Meccano at the age of 6, i usually ignored the attached instructions and just made whatever my imagination threw at me. Few decades later, i graduated from medical school and became a diagnostic Radiologist. In the mean time my passion for making stuff just grew further, and along grew my workshop. Specializing in fine woodworking, also using other materials such as brass and steel. Two years ago, i decided to take a leap of faith in my career and shift into becoming a full-time woodworker, leaving my medical days behind. Best decision ever.

I've always been self-taught. YouTube provided the basics and i learned almost everything by trial and error.

My curiosity drives me forward. Curiosity about everything. I believe that specialization is for insects, not for humans. That's why i applied to the Maker's Diploma. It provides exactly what i need to further enhance my skill set, and let me better visualize my potential in the making and fabricating world.
