Favorite Saxon Memories | All the Saxon’s Got Talent Events. In fact, my Sophomore year, I got the opportunity to share my poetry which was very empowering. The student section at football games was always super rowdy and fun. As a Junior, it was also awesome to get to cheer as cheerleader too. Lastly, I would definitely have to say DECA.

What advice would you give your high school self? | Take a deep breath and just relax sometimes. I participated in numerous speaking events, panels, organizations, etc. in all levels from district to national level, I was always busy. I think at times I didn’t give myself room to just breathe. I think adopting a self-care routine of even 20 minutes a day would have been really healthy for me. Taking care of yourself and recharging is the real root to success.
