Welcome to my website. This is my eleventh year teaching sixth grade math at Salisbury Middle School. I have been teaching for eighteen years in various grades and subject areas. I have taught fourth grade, fifth grade, gifted support at HST and WSE, instructional support, 6th grade reading and English, and seventh and eighth grade math at SMS.
Continuing to learn about education is an important goal of mine. I graduated from the University of Delaware with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in mathematics. I earned my master's degree from Kutztown University in Elementary Education. I love to learn, and I am always looking for new ideas to make learning authentic and enjoyable for my students. It is my belief that all students can learn, and it is important to take the time to discover the ways in which children learn best.
A native of the "Jersey" shore, I love going to the beach. I also love to travel and have been to several countries including; Mexico, Canada, Italy, France, Ireland, Scotland, and England. I have also traveled across the country and have visited 23 of our 50 states. One day I hope to see them all! On the weekends you will most likely find me watching my daughter play softball, baking with my daughter, walking my dog, or hiking with my family.
