Welcome to our classroom page! My name is Mrs. Attar, and I am thrilled to be your child’s kindergarten teacher!

This marks my 27th year in elementary education and my 23rd year here at Salisbury Elementary School. While I spent 19 wonderful years teaching first grade, I am so excited to be entering my sixth year in kindergarten—where my journey first began during my student teaching through Penn State!

Outside of the classroom, I love spending time with my family. My husband and I have two wonderful sons and a fun-loving pug named Barkley! My oldest son is a junior at Penn State University, and my youngest is entering his senior year of high school. I still vividly remember when they were in kindergarten—time truly flies! My boys love playing football and lacrosse, and nothing brings me more joy than cheering them on from the sidelines. As a family, one of our favorite vacation spots is Ocean City, New Jersey.

Watching my own children grow and learn has been the joy of my life, and I look forward to watching my students grow and learn this year, too!
