Meet Information

DATE: March 23, 2019

DIVISIONS: Boys, Girls & "Frosh Focus" (freshman only).

AWARDS: Top 6 individuals in each event.

ENTRY DEADLINE: Entries are to be made on before Midnight Tuesday, March 19th. There are no limits on individual or relay entries, all athletes will be accepted. Please bring your whole team!

Please use 2019 marks when applicable. Manual overrides & 2018 marks are allowed but actual 2019 marks will be given priority in seeding.

ENTRY FEES: $5 per individual & $10 per relay. Maximum of $350 per school. Please make checks payable to “NORTH SALINAS HIGH SCHOOL TRACK & FIELD.” Please bring payment to the meet to receive your packet.

SPIKES: Please use 1/4” spikes or less!

CONCESSIONS: Concession stand will be available throughout the event. All proceeds go to North Salinas Track & Field!

WEIGH-INS: All implements must be weighed in before the competition. Scales will be open starting 8 am on the infield between the shot put and discus rings and continuing at designated times throughout the day.

SPECTATORS GATE: There is a $5 gate fee for all adult spectators; Students 13 & over and Seniors 60 and over $3.00; Children (7-12) $2.00; Children 6 and under Free

SCHEDULE: Field events start @ 9 am; Running events @ 10 am. An estimated time schedule & heat sheets will be sent to coaches once entries close.

EVENTS: Distance Medley Relay, 4x100, Invitational 800. High Hurdles, 400, 100, 4x800, 300H, 200, 1600, Sprint Medley Relay; Shot Put, Discus, Long Jump, High Jump, Pole Vault.

PROGRAM: A limited amount of programs will be available at the entrance gate for $1

A Few General Guidelines:

  • Sophomores may throw a 10 pound shot put will be seeded into separate flights separate from the "frosh focus" division.
  • Clerk of the Course for running events will be at the tent near the start/finish line. Lane assignments will be assigned at the clerk. All field events are to check in at their event.
  • Heats will be run fast to slow.

Relay Details:

  • 4x800, 800m Sprint Medley & 4000m Distance Medley Relay may use an aggregate mark for seeding.
