Message from Principal, Huerta
Hello Roosevelt families,
Now that we are well into the year, I would like to share with you that we are very excited at the student growth we are witnessing. We have a lot of work to do, but there are so many indications that we are moving in the right direction, together, to get all of our students excited about learning. We are offering so many extended learning opportunities outside of the classroom that are giving our students experiences that will lead them to find their passions and to become 21st-century visionaries. We plead for your help to make sure you get your children to school every, single day and on time. This makes such a big difference in their success. Also, if there is any way you can offer to volunteer at our upcoming Fall Festival, Winter Festival, Day of the Child, fundraising, and other events, it will greatly benefit our learning culture and we will be able to offer more to our students. Ms. Chiboucas and I welcome you to all of our School Site Council, Parent Teacher Group, ELAC, and Cafecitos to bring your energy and voice to our school community. Thank you for supporting our vision in your households to ensure that your child finds and achieves his potential. You are always welcome!
