2. Send Your high school/college transcripts to Salem
Deadline: As soon as they're available!
Be sure that your high school sends your final high school transcript to Admissions as soon as possible, or that you send us your transcripts from all colleges you previously attended.
The fastest way method is to have transcripts mailed to admissions@salem.edu.
Paper copies should be mailed to 601 South Church Street, Attn: Admissions Office, Winston-Salem, NC 27101.
3. Contact your advisor
Deadline: After completing your math and language placement tests
Your initial academic advisor will give you all the information you need in order to register for classes. Once you have completed your placement tests, contact your advisor to set up an advising session.
Your initial advisor, until you declare your major, will be Laura Merritt (laura.merritt@salem.edu).
4. Read the Registration Guide
Be sure to read our "Getting Ready to Register Guide," which provides information about our General Education requirements, as well as tips for courses you might want to take depending on your anticipated major. It's best to read this guide before meeting with your advisor!
