Navaratri Prayer Details

Sairam. Navaratri Prayers have been a tradition at the Sai Centre. Started in 1997, this year marks the 25th year of the commencement of this tradition. It is organised by the Ladies' Wing of Sri Sathya Sai Society, and is open to all interested devotees.

Prayer Items

A small plate with a picture or idol of Divine Mother in any form or of our beloved Divine Mother Sai or a Sri Chakra. A small container of Kumkum (red vermillion powder).

Procedure

Drop a tiny pinch of the vermillion powder on to the picture/idol/Sri Chakra for each line chanted.

Just listening to the chanting confers equal benefits.

7th October, Thursday

8th October, Friday

10am to 12.30pm: Devi Mahaatmyam chanting
