Please download the following Apps to your iPad (either from the Airwatch catalog or the iTunes App Store),

Seesaw: A Learning Journal

How to join the Lesson:

  • On your iPad (or laptop) to go the Seesaw app
  • Inside the app,
    • Click the 'I'm a Student' option
    • Join the class by scanning the code to the right ----->
    • Pick your name from the list
    • Choose 'Notify Me' for notifications


Lesson One - Today's Warm up

Let's review your ABC's by completing a connect the dots.

  • Tap the [...] button below the item and choose 'Copy & Edit'
  • Use the PEN option to connect the dots
  • Use the AUDIO option to say the name of the item you've created.


Lesson Two - Shapes and Colors

The world is full of shapes and colors!! Look around your space and find an object that is,

    • RED
    • or SQUARE

Use the PHOTO icon and AUDIO option in Seesaw to tell me about the object that you have found :)

To generate the poster:

  1. Log into your Seesaw class
  2. In the upper right hand corner, click on 'Get Class Code'
  3. In the 'Get Class Code' pop-up, click on the 'Print out your Class Code Poster!'
  4. A PDF will be generated containing,
    1. Seesaw student sign in poster with teacher instructions
    2. Posters with QR Code for the class

Do not photograph or share this code on social media.

To generate assignment handouts for students:

  1. Log into your Seesaw class
  2. Click and view the main menu
  3. Choose the 'Feed View' option
  4. In the 'Class List' table (on the right hand side), choose a student
  5. Click on the student's name
  6. In the 'Feed View' area go to the top and click on 'Print PDF'
  7. A PDF will be generated containing individual student pages with QR Codes

To generate the invitations:

  1. Log into your Seesaw class
  2. Click and view the main menu
  3. Choose the 'Manage Class' option
  4. In the 'Parents' section, click on 'Invite parents' option
  5. In the 'Enable Parent Access' pop-up window, click on the 'Print Parent Invite Handout' button
  6. A PDF will be generated containing,
    1. Seesaw parent invitations with teacher instructions
    2. A list of currently connected parents
    3. And individual student pages with QR Codes

To log into Seesaw:

  1. Go to http://web.seesaw.me/
  2. Click on the 'Sign in' button [Fig. 1] in the upper right hand corner
  3. Click on the 'I'm a Teacher' button
  4. Log in using your 'g+ Teacher Sign In with Google' account [Fig. 2]

Nearpod: Create Online Interactive Lessons made Easy!

How to join the class:

  • On your iPad (or laptop) to go the NearPod app
  • Inside the app,
    • In the 'Students' section, type in the code to the right ----->
    • Type in your name
    • Click the 'Send' button
