We are learning to write a reflection about our day (recount) using descriptive language, our senses and our personal voice

CREATE

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Make a copy of these slides.

You will be writing a diary entry every day starting in Week 5 Tuesday 13/11/18 up until Week 9 Monday 10/12/18 .

4. Make a copy of the diary entries, move to your Writing folder, open in Kami and highlight in purple where the writer has used their senses.

5. Use this new knowledge to improve your own diary entries - add comment boxes next to your writing to show where you have used this new knowledge

  2. Then reread your writing to see if you have achieved the learning goal of using personal voice (if you haven't, rewrite and change sentences to show you can).
  3. Next, reread our writing to check for figurative language (if you haven't, change and add words to show you can).
