Sixth Grade Chromebook Orientation

St. Paul Catholic School 2017/2018

All students have been assigned a Google account and will use Google Chromebooks throughout the school year.

A Chromebook is a laptop computer that runs the Google Chrome Operating System. St. Paul is an official Google for Education partner school.

You will use your Chromebook everyday. You will be expected to have the Chromebook charged and ready for use at the beginning of every school day.

You are responsible for the care/upkeep of your Chromebook. This will be your primary learning tool through the school year so take pride in your tools and treat them appropriately.

Students will be responsible for purchasing a case for their Chromebook. There are many case options available on Amazon.com. I personally suggest one of the following...

For a standard hardshell case click the following link:

For something more protective check here:

If students would prefer not to use the trackpad, I suggest the following wireless mouse:

There will be a hands-on orientation during the first week of school; after students are assigned their Chromebooks.

We are all looking forward to an exciting year! See you in August!!! If you have any questions, contact me at the following email address.
