Math Summer 2017

It is important to review math skills this summer. Pay special attention to adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing Fractions. Do not Fear the Fraction! Our first test will be on these skills.


Math Grading

Students must always show work.

Homework: Every student starts with a 100 on MSP, points are deducted for missing Assignments. Homework is the completion of classwork and a majority of time is assigned from the workbook.

Maintenance: Accumulates into 1 test. Example given in class and finished by students, references are allowed.

Cumulative Review: assigned from workbook, may use references and each marked as a test.

Science Grading

Homework: Every student starts with a 100 on MSP, points are deducted for missing Assignments. Everynight students should review the highlighted notes in workbook/copybook.

Sketches: Are graded for neatness and accuracy. Should be completed in color pencil.

Lab Reports: Count as a test, students should incorporate the current vocabulary in their answers. Participation in lab is part of the lab assessment.

Chapter Test: The Lesson Review should be given careful attention.


Religion Grading

Homework: Every student starts with a 100 on MSP, points are deducted for missing Assignments. Students are required to bring the Bible to each class. One point will be deducted each time it is forgotten.

Commandment Projects: Each are assigned for a two week period and count as a test.

Chapter Test! Study guides are given at the start of each chapter.
