Whole school assembly 9 - 9.30am Wednesday
We hope to have this live assembly going live through our school website home page above the principal's message & on our facebook page.

This means they can view the hangout live but can not interact.
Following assembly Room 7 will have the daily opportunity to join our class Google Hangouts/Meet from 9:45-10.

Each child should have their own St Mary's email login which you will have been phoned about. Children will have been sent an invite to our hangout via this email, however it may be simpler to just click on the link and enter your child's name if you prefer not to be signed in.
This will be an opportunity to interact,connect, pray and share. ( Not a lesson, however I may talk to some of the learning provided on the site. ). It may be that everyone has to be on mute unless it is their turn to speak or there could be a lot of feedback. You can use Control D or the mute button at the bottom to do this. We can give it a go! I plan to do this each school day morning at 9.45, so each day click away!
Covid Learning Class Site
If you look on the site you will see I have added the weeks COVID learning. Here there will be Maths and Literacy tasks for each day, including ANZAC activities this week. I have added audio so that the children can navigate by themselves if need be.This is another attempt to connect more personally with the children and it is clear what is to be accomplished each day. Rather than dumping more sites and links, which can get overwhelming. If they do nothing else they can at least hopefully do this. I will add another set of slides for the next week and beyond...
The Maths Buddy and Sunshine Classics are still there to access. I have and will continue to check on these sites.
I loaded books onto Sunshine Classics and it looks as if everyone has enough for now. The children can record themselves reading on this site. The other site PM Reading can be the next go to for reading.
I see some of you have been on Maths Buddy. If your child only views the task they will continue to have it reassigned to them. They need to complete the task to get a new one.

Online learning may not be easy, then again your child may be really engaged. It may seem too easy or too hard. I have tried to individualise where I can or pitch it all somewhere in the middle and make it fun!
