Decemer 2023: Check out the Drummond Lab featured in a new promotional video for Saint Mary's College! We're so excited to be part of empowering current and future women in chemistry!  

October 2023: Bridget and Dhemi present their work at the Midwest and Great Lakes Joint Regional Meeting of the American Chemical Society! Dr. Drummond also gave a talk on using Specs grading in General Chemistry and upper-division Inorganic Chemistry courses. 

July 2023: Bridget and Dhemi present their work at the Notre Dame Summer Undergraduate Research Symposium & Saint Mary’s STEM Fall Poster Day. Good job showing off all of your hard work from the summer! 

June 2023: Happy 10th Birthday to Gladwin the Glovebox! 

We realized early in the summer that our Glovebox, recently named Gladwin, was turning 10 on the summer solstice. We celebrated accordingly with the rest of the Saint Mary's STEM summer research students. 

May 2023: Congratulations to Abbi on Graduating! 

Abbi Houser graduated from Saint Mary's Summa Cum Laude with degrees in Chemistry and Math. We appreciate your hard work and leadership getting the lab started! Good luck in graduate school! 

March 2023: The Drummond Lab at ACS 2023: Indianapolis

Sydney and Abbi presented their poster "Synthesis of Tautomerizing Electrolytes for Non-Aqueous Redox Flow Batteries" at the Frontiers of Undergraduate Research in Inorganic Chemistry poster session. Dr. Drummond was also present ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

Abbi accepted an Honorable Mention award for the Saint Mary's American Chemical Society (SMACS) club. Well done to the students! 

Dr. Drummond presented on his work developing an alternative grading system in an oral session on advances in Chemical Education. 

August 2022: The Drummond Lab moves to Saint Mary's College! 

After starting this past summer at Azusa Pacific University, the Drummond lab has moved to Saint Mary's College in Notre Dame, Indiana. We will be recruiting undergraduate researchers over the next year to work on a battery project and a synthetic bio-inorganic project.
