8th Grade Graduation
There are a lot of notable yearly experiences that happen at Saint Francis. One of these is the 8th-grade graduation that the 8th graders undergo each year as they leave St. Francis. Due to COVID-19, many things are looking different this year, one thing is the end of the school year. This year, instead of having graduation at the end of the year, the 8th-grade graduation will be taking place in the summer. Different arrangements have been made and the 8th-graders are preparing differently for their graduation this year. For example, Mrs. Aarsvold’s reading and language arts students are developing farewell messages to their kindergarten buddies, writing poetry, and preparing graduation speeches to reflect on their year at SFA.
The 8th-graders have accomplished so much during their time at St. Francis and we will be sad to see them graduate, but we feel content knowing that they are moving on to the next chapter of their lives. This year is bringing a lot of changes, and we are adapting to these changes and working hard to stay on top of things. Shoutout to the teachers and staff who are working so hard to ensure that all the students can finish out the school year efficiently and effectively. The 8th-grade graduation is going to look different this year, but it will still be filled with as much joy as the graduations that have come before it.
