Reminders
TUITION/OTHER FEE PAYMENTS: Tuition and remaining fees were due, Friday, May 9, 2025. There will be a $100.00 per family LATE FEE if tuition and fees are received after Monday, May 19, 2025. Please see the Past News section for more information.
All outstanding payments to the cafeteria should be paid in full by Wednesday.
Please see the following information from the handbook regarding outstanding bills:
A student will not be allowed to take exams or receive a report card if all outstanding bills have not been paid.
A student will not be readmitted if all outstanding bills have not been paid at that time.
Grades will be marked "I" for incomplete for the year for upper grade levels. Lower grade students will be graded for the last two weeks of school, and final grades will be marked "I" for incomplete. A student will not be allowed to participate in the end-of the year awards program if the school is owed money for any unpaid bills.
A student will not be accepted for the upcoming year if tuition and all outstanding bills are not paid up (assuming we would make allowances in hardship cases).
The bin to drop off and donate items for Uniform Swap Shop will be located outside of the school office, May 15th-16th and May 19th-23rd, for your convenience. Service hours for elementary and high school students can be earned by working at the swap shop. Send a text message to Blair Fournier at (985) 688-8337 for more info.
Field day is scheduled for Wednesday, May 21, 2025. We are in need of Safe-Environment trained volunteers to help facilitate each station. Only volunteers will be allowed to attend field day. You will not be following your child to each station; you will be assigned a station to work for the time slot you choose. The 1st - 3rd grade students will attend the field games from 8:30-10:15 and the 4th - 6th grade students will attend the field games from 11:45-1:45. If you would like to help with this event, please fill out the bottom portion of the parent volunteer form and return to school by Monday, May 12th.
Students will be allowed to purchase concessions. All concessions will be $1.00 each. We ask that you do not send more than $5.00 for concessions. Please send a gallon-size zip lock bag with your child’s name on it, so the students can carry their snacks and money.
We are asking each grade level to wear a certain color shirt, this helps the teacher easily identify their students.
1st grade - Neon Pink
2nd grade - Neon Orange
3rd grade - Neon Yellow
4th grade - Neon Green
5th grade - Neon Purple
6th grade - Neon Blue
Students are allowed to wear appropriate-length shorts (must be longer than their fingertips when their hands are at their side) and tennis shoes.
5th - 6th grade students need to bring their school bags to school on Field Day.
We look forward to a fun-filled Field Day!

Altar Servers:
All 3rd through 12th-grade students who have received their First Communion are invited to become Altar Servers here at St. Bernadette. This is a beautiful opportunity for students to serve God and His people in a special way.
I know many of you have a desire to serve, and while being a reliable altar server may sometimes require a sacrifice, the blessings and rewards will far outweigh the effort. Don’t worry, we will teach you everything you need to know.
If you are interested in being an Altar Server for the 2025–2026 school year, please complete this form and return it to Mrs. Ramona as soon as possible, but no later than May 20th. We will hold a workshop on Tuesday, May 20th, from 2:50–3:30 PM in the church, for both new and returning altar servers.
