8:30 – 9:00 Morning Meeting & ELA(ZOOM) – Read Aloud: The Story of the Pilgrims. What do we know about the pilgrims? We will create an anchor chart. If we have time, we will talk about how pilgrims are different from people today.

9:30 – 10:00 Start Independent Assignments/Snack

1. If you were going on the Mayflower, what would you bring? List the items you would bring and draw them in your suitcase. (Seesaw)

2. Sight Word sentences choose 4 sight words and use each one in a sentence. (Worksheet)

3. STEM Activity: Build the Mayflower out of tin foil. Draw your completed ship in the box. How many pilgrims (pennies) can your ship hold before it sinks? Estimate (take a guess) and then record your answer after trying the experiment. (Worksheet)
