Dec. 14th - (Due Dec. 18th)

Task: Read the article and write a one page response to the following question:
If you were older, would you sign up for the Mars One Mission?
Support your answer with at least three reasons based on the article. Use in-text citations to reference supporting information by including the author’s last name and date of article in parentheses following the reference. Example -> (Contrera, 2015)
Dec. 6th - (Due Dec. 9th)
Use a Google Slides (make sure to choose a theme/background color)
Create a title slide with a title and photo that represents the article.
Each slide needs to have the question and the response.
Read the article (handout) and respond to the following questions using an in-text citation to support each answer.
1) Why would this discovery of water on Mars be more significant than past discoveries?
2) How were scientists able to make the discovery?
3) It is thought that even though the temperature of the lake is -90 degrees Fahrenheit, it is not frozen. How would that be possible?
4) Do you believe that the discovery is accurate?
Dec. 4th - (Due Dec. 6th)
Use the link below to find the "Ten Things to Know About" section of each planet. To find the section, scroll down on the site and choose a planet. Once you are on the planet's page, scroll down to the "Ten Things to Know About" section.
Create a Google Slide presentation about the planets in our solar system.
1) The first slide a title slide
2) The next 8 slides are of each planet including a photograph and 3 facts from the "Ten Things to Know About" section of that planet's page. Use the link to find the "Ten Things to Know About" section
3) The last slide is a quote about space. Search for space quotes online and choose one that you like.
Nov. 30th - (Due Dec. 2nd)
Homework is optional but if completed, it will count as extra credit towards your exam/ project grade. Each correct answer is worth a quarter of a point.
