All classes are taught by a credentialed Sage Oak teacher. "LIVE!" classes take place weekly via Zoom meetings or other live online platforms. Classes that are not labeled "LIVE!" will be conducted via email, Google Classroom, recorded video, or other communication platforms on a weekly basis.

Grade levels are suggested based on content. If your student is interested in a specific class or topic but does not fit within the suggested grade range, please feel free to sign up. Reach out to the class teacher if you have a specific question about the class or regarding content difficulty. You can submit your questions to the teacher directly using the sign-up form.
Class Description: Each week we will explore a different community helper. We will read a book, write a response, do a craft, have written service opportunities, and also get to do a live Q&A with a real worker from that field!

Class Description: Join us as we travel across Europe with the book series The Adventures of Bella & Harry. Each week, students will get a recorded reading of a book following two pups, Bella and Harry, as they visit new cities in Europe. With each book, there will be interactive resources and activities based on the city and culture. Geography, trivia, kid friendly recipes, simple words and phrases unique to that city/language... we can't wait to learn as we travel to Europe with you!

Platform: A Google folder with story and activities will be emailed Mondays at 11 am, Flipgrid prompt and responses will be on Thursdays.
Class Description: Do you have BIG ideas for how to make the world a better place? In this course, we will look at people who made their BIG ideas a reality. Learn from them how take the first steps in making your wish for the future a reality. We will read biographies, ask and answer questions about these difference makers on Flipgrid, and have the opportunity to document our learning on Seesaw!

Class Description: Do you love jeopardy? Have you always wanted to participate in a Geography Bee? Come and learn 50 state locations, state capitals, landmarks, and state abbreviations in a fun game!

Platform: Live Zoom meetings on Mondays from 9 am - 10 am
Class Description: You are invited back in time to 4 different Ancient Civilizations. You will learn about the culture, lifestyle, strengths, challenges of the four civilizations. We will be using YouTube, Interactive Notebooks, hands-on projects, and informational text to immerse ourselves into the civilization.
