Lunch & Learn

November 12th – Noon to 1PM

Please come and enjoy a presentation by Mollie Jurgenson an impressionistic and abstract artist.

Mollie has been drawing, sketching and painting from an early age. Painting loose and large, with interesting special effects that she has found through continuous experimentation and exploration. The incredible landscapes and skyscapes in the high desert have greatly influenced and inspired her creative process. The artist’s work has been exhibited in Bend and Portland art galleries over the last 20 years. Mollie will share with us the tools and methods of texture that she uses in the process of painting.

Space is limited, vaccinations and masks are required in the studio.

Artist’s Statement

“One of the things I love about the painting process is the excitement I feel when the unexpected develops. Painting is about adventure and journey – with usually no specific idea, plan or destination in mind. Like the randomness and evolution in Nature, painting to me is about the unexpected changes and MORE changes while tapping into my intuition and utilizing my artistic knowledge.”
