ECO ORGANISATION AT SAFA

At Safa, we believe that the environment should be cared for and loved. Some students thought about the change they wanted to see and started an eco Organisation at Safa. This is us. We plan to be able to get everyone involved with fun activities and funds for our eco garden and other projects but most of all to promote awareness for the environment. (To see more on these check out other tabs!). This website will be updated every so often for you to posted on projects around the school. Continue looking through our website to be inspired or get creative and participate in some activities we have created! We will keep you up to date over here, Have fun 😉

How can YOU help make a difference in your daily life ?

You could bring our planet further from complete extinction by doing some

simple things,

1) You could make a whole separate trash can for recyclable paper or plastic and you could keep your other bin with no recyclable items so when it comes to taking out the rubbish you can easily put all recyclable items in their area !

2) Save electricity, you should always close the lights/power in a room/device if you are not using them to save electricity.

3) Similar to number ‘2’, save water, the same rule applies to water. If you are not using it then turn it off, like when brushing your teeth, turn off the tap.

4) Buy eco-friendly and biodegradable products, lots of things like paper, food, stationary and even toothpaste aren’t always eco-friendly. If you are shopping, always look in the ingredients/materials area to see if it harms the environment or not.
