See below for a brief overview of what is happening each week. Refer to your project briefs and Tracking sheets for more detail.

Weekly reflections are encouraged in this unit to hone the transferable skill of reflective practice.
Please note that to meet the requirements for CLO1 a minimum of six reflections must be submitted. Students will not be eligible for a review of grade if they do not meet this minimum requirement.
Further evidence of reflective practice may also be required to meet Studio Unit Milestones.
Each week, you will need to reflect upon at least one item relevant to each of the 3Ps:
Proficiency - the intellectual, creative and technical tools of your trade and the tangible output of their use.
Process - the ways in which you go about using and reflecting on these tools to create things of high quality that meet the needs of your target audience.
Person - the transferable skills that make you better at working with other people in creative media.
For each of the 3Ps you should use the following questions to structure your reflection:
What constitutes high quality (examples and descriptions)?
How does my work compare to high quality?
Now what am I going to do in the following week to start to close this gap?
Reflect on what you learned every week in your Learning Journal (Google site) under the "Reflection" page for this module.
These aspects are mandatory to include in every reflection:
How much time have I spent on this unit across the week? Track the hours your work on your project and specialisation each week. There are many tools to help with this (https://clockify.me/ , https://toggl.com/ etc)
What feedback have I received this week and how am I going to address it? Record any feedback (verbal or written) you receive from your facilitator or peers and reflect on it in your journal.
What challenges did I encounter and what am I unsure about? How did I/how am I going to address them? Ensure you attempt to solve your problems independently before you seek out your facilitator as you will be asked to present what steps you went through in your problem solving process.
The following is how every reflection should be structured, in addition to the above included elements. Note, you only need to choose one or two from each section each week (whatever is most relevant and impactful for you in that moment):
1) What...
...is the problem/difficulty?
...was my role?
...happened?
...was I trying to achieve?
...actions did I take
...was the response of others?
...did you think and feel about it?
...were the consequences? for myself? for others?
...was good/bad about the experience?
2) So what...
...does this tell me/teach me/imply/mean about me/my
class/ others?
...was going through my mind?
...sense can you make of it?
...did I base my actions on?
...was I feeling when I did that?
...should I have done?
...were the positives and negatives?
...do I know about what happened now?
3) Now what...
...do I need to do?
...broader issues have been raised?
...is my new understanding?
...can I do differently?
...will I do next time?
...other knowledge can I bring to the situation?
...might happen next?
...might be the consequences of this action?
...might change because of what happened?
Our session of Mid Tri Meetings will be taking place in Week 7 within the times outlined in the schedule below.
Please look over the following documents beforehand to come to the session prepared. We will be taking 15 minutes with everyone to:
- Review where everyone is at on their individual and/or group work
- Give everyone a detailed rundown of why their tentative grade is what it currently is
- Give some guidance on how you can improve and/or maintain positive progress
- Allow you to ask questions and seek further clarification on reaching your goals
