Sixth Grade

"As a student who really struggled with school and had to work hard to achieve my academic goals, I knew I wanted to be a teacher who empowered my students who felt like they couldn't achieve mastery. I wanted to show them that as long as they continue to persevere and work hard, they would meet with success!

What I love about teaching is seeing that light bulb come on and the students' excitement in knowing that they finally, and truly understand the skill they worked hard to grasp. It's one of the best feelings in the world to see them celebrate their victories in learning. "
