“Start by doing what is necessary, then what is possible, and suddenly you are doing the impossible.”
-St. Francis of Assisi
Mrs. Abigail Henry (formerly Hershey) is an alumni of Sacred Heart School. Joining the teaching team in 2015, she is thrilled to be back at her Alma Mater. She graduated from Temple University with a double major in Education and English. In the 2016-2017 school year Mrs. Henry received the Outstanding Educator Award from the Scholastic Art and Writing Alliance.
In her spare time she enjoys traveling with her husband and hanging out at home with her two boxers, Utley and Luna. She also enjoys relaxing with her family, cooking and yoga.
In Mrs. Henry’s classes respect is imperative, honesty is admired and laughter is highly recommended. At Sacred Heart, Mrs. Henry loves that the emphasis is looking at the entirety of the student rather than just a grade. Moreover, that each student gets individual attention and a great deal of one on one time.
Currently Mrs. Henry is the 7th grade homeroom teacher and teaches English to 6th, 7th and 8th grade.
