Information Technology is presented at SACS as a full- time subject as well as a part- time subject for Grade 10 to Grade 12 students. This grant pupils from different schools the opportunity to register for IT if the subject is not presented at their school.

Information Technology is the study or use of systems (especially computers and telecommunications) for storing, retrieving, and sending information. Information Technology's definition consists of three categories: techniques for processing, the application of statistical and mathematical methods to decision-making, and the simulation of higher-order thinking through computer programs.
