In this section we will combine all the information from the previous sections into a process that is that the very core of modern chemistry: Stoichiometry.
In my opinion stoichiometry is what makes modern chemistry such a powerful tool. It is the process of using a chemical reaction and information about one or more of the reactants of that reaction to predict what amount of the products will be formed. This is a process used extensively not just in your Chemistry Honors class but in any application that uses chemistry at all, from materials sciences to medical sciences to petroleum engineering.
