4. Nomenclature Review

Chemical Nomenclature is a very important aspect for every unit in Chemistry Honors. As such, I would like you to make sure to practice nomenclature extensively to establish a good foundation. I have provided three nomenclature reviews. It is best to approach them like so:

-Complete Review 1. Check your answers at the end of every page, making notes of any mistakes. Use your standards lessons to help, or ask the teacher if you are unfamiliar with a particular problem.

-Complete Review 2. Use the notes you wrote during Review 1 to help you avoid your common mistakes. Check your answer at the end of each page, and mark which mistakes you made a second time.

-Complete Review 3 without any outside help or the use of your notes. Check your answers at the end of the review.

If after 3 reviews you are still making numerous mistakes just let me know and we can do a review as well as more practice. It is very important to gain a mastery of nomenclature for a smooth class in the future.
