ERASMUS+ EXPERIENCE - DENMARK

Some week ago some Danish students came to Albacete to have a cultural exchange with nine of us within Erasmus + Project.

The experience was amazing, I hosted two of them, Jasmine and Martha. 

The first was a bit shy but at the end of the week we talked a lot and I learnt a lot of Danish culture.

We made some activities like a gymkhana of Albacete, some trips (Valencia, El Toboso, Mota del Cuervo and Chinchilla), I also showed them how the gastronomy here in Spain is and they talked a lot with my parents and sister.

The project was called  Sustainablity in our Cities and we learnt a lot about that topic when we went to Albacete Town Hall where the Local concellors explained what it is done in that respect in our city. The same in Mota del Cuervo where we were received by the Lord Mayor.  In that village, we also saw  the windmills running, old buildings which are a great example of sustainable building used since ancient times.

I enjoyed the experience a lot and I can´t wait to go to Kolding in September.

My experience with the Erasmus + exchange with Danish people in Spain has been very favorable. Not only have I been lucky enough to make a friend that I will keep forever, but I have been able to meet things from another culture as well as some that I did not know about mine. My only warning is that people have to be aware of the work they will have just around their exchange time, since they usually choose difficult dates. Anyway, we are always busy at school...
