My name is Wendy Longhofer and this will be my eighteenth year teaching at Sabine Middle School, but I have been a teacher for 26 years.  I graduated from Gladewater High School in 1987 and continued my education at ETBU and UT Tyler where I earned my Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies degree specializing in math and reading.  In addition to teaching, I also help manage our lawn care and nursery business.  My hobbies include crocheting, reading, and spending time with my family.

My husband, Larry, and I have been married for 35 years and we have four children.  We also just became grandparents this summer to a perfect little baby boy.
