We, Sabancı University's SIAM Student Chapter, are thrilled to announce a captivating seminar featuring the Founding President of the Science Academy and Astrophysicist, Prof. Dr. Ali Alpar. The seminar will take place on Monday, April 3, 2023, at 21:00 in FENS G032.
Seminar Topic: How do we measure distances from the nearest stars to distant galaxies? How do we model the universe, and how do we deduce its expansion from here?
This event will be conducted in person, but for those joining us from off-campus, we will share the Zoom link and YouTube live stream link via email on the day of the seminar.
