Parkland ~ Parent Advisory Council ~ PAC

                                                  PARKLAND PARENT ADVISORY COUNCIL (PAC)

     Parkland PAC is the organized voice of parents on matters relating to our student's secondary education.

All parents/guardians are voting members and entiltled to be members and are encouraged to attend PAC meetings which are held the second Monday of each month at 7 pm in the Learning Commons and volunteer in support of our students.

    Some things we do at Parkland:  

          -  make decisions on how gaming funds should be spent; 

          -  to work in an advisory capacity with the school principal and staff toward the improvemnt of the school
                programs, policies, activities and facilities

          -  to foster good relationsds between Parkland Secondary School and the community 

          -  host a fall and spring Spirit BBQ for students; 

          -  run the morning Breakfast Program (7:45-8:20);
          -  look after the earthquake bin.
