Hello, Kay's here. Nice to meet you :D I'm studying Language Studies and a big fan of Languages.

Imagine: You are sick and consulted the doctor at the nearest clinic. While you were telling how you feel to the doctor, the doctor kept typing on the computer. Then, she decided the best medicines for you. Before you leave the room, you spotted some words on the screen. Do you think you can understand a single word that she had typed?

There are many types of English in the world: daily English, academic English, workplace English, etc. Each of them has their own set of style and vocabulary. Some of them can only be understood by people in the same field, just like doctors.

In this portfolio, I am going to share with you one of my writing assignments, resources I have used to learn discipline-specific English and what I have learned from those resources.
