I asked 50 students in the class of 2027 about their favorite music artists. The results were very interesting and varied greatly among the students in the class of 2027. The main results showed that 4 people said Drake is their favorite, 4 people said Tate McRae is their favorite, 2 people mentioned MF DOOM as their favorite, 2 people said Bad Bunny is their favorite, 2 people said PartyNextDoor is their favorite, and 2 people said The Beatles are their favorite.
Drake, who's been voted for 4 times, was last seen in Copenhagen with PartyNextDoor on his “$ome $pecial $hows 4 U” tour, performing songs like “MOTH BALLS” or “BRIAN STEEL”. Tate McRae was last seen in the UBS Arena in New York performing her song “Sports Car”.
Many other artists had one vote from the class of 2027. These artists included Laufey, SZA, Kendrick Lamar, and Tyler, the Creator, many of whom are still touring and performing concerts. Artists like Laufey have last been seen at the Guggenheim Museum in New York performing her song “Snow White,” SZA who’s last been in Sweden performing with Kendrick Lamar, or Tyler the Creator who's last been seen around the New York/ New Jersey area performing some songs from his famous album “Chromakopia” along with his newest album "Don't Tap the Glass,” only had one vote each.
Other artists with only 1 vote each included Colter Wall, She Wants Revenge, Nine Inch Nails, Nas, The Weeknd, Peso Pluma, John Summit, Tame Impala, Florence & The Machine, The Strokes, Lizzy McAlpine, Paramore, Foo Fighters, Megan Moroney, Frank Ocean, Noga Erez, A Boogie Wit da Hoodie, Zach Bryan, Gorillaz, Omar Courtz, Tyler, and Sabrina Carpenter.
