I was born and raised in Red Deer, and moved to Airdrie with my husband and 2 kids in July. I completed my education degree at Red Deer College through the University of Alberta collaborative program.
I enjoy camping with my husband Brent, our son Seth and our daughter Pyper.
Technology is my passion and I love finding new ways to use technology in the classroom.
I look forward to a new year full of new adventures in grade one at Windsong Heights!

Mrs. Tanya Liverpool:
I was born and raised in Saskatoon, SK. and have lived in Alberta since 2001. I got my degree at the University of Saskatchewan and taught in northern Saskatchewan before pursuing my teaching career in Alberta when I moved here with my husband, Ellery.
I enjoy going to my family cabin in northern Saskatchewan, traveling, shopping and spending time outside on my acreage.
I have two step children, Tianna and Jalan, who are in university and a daughter, Kelsey, who is 6. I have spent a lot of time in gymnasiums cheering them on in all the sports that they play.
My passion is literacy. I love seeing the proud joy of children smiling when they make meaningful and personal connections to literacy.
I have been teaching for 16 years and look forward to a wonderful year in grade one with an amazing group of students!

Mrs. Amy Rivard:
I am new to Windsong Heights like the rest of our staff and students this year but I am also new to Airdrie and to Alberta.
My husband and our two children moved this summer from Ontario where we taught in Sault Ste. Marie. It was a big move for our family this summer. We have also taught in Kuwait for 3 years and briefly taught in Egypt.
My passion in teaching has been Special Education and have taught quite a bit in a variety of different life skills and alternative programs.
