Welcome to Grade 1! I am really excited about our learning journey this year! 

A little bit about me... I am originally from Southwestern Ontario, and moved to Alberta 19 years ago to pursue my education degree at University of Calgary and I never left! I met my husband, Terry, here in 2005 and we currently live in Airdrie. We have an 9 year old yellow lab named Ryder. I come from a very musical family and love all types of music. Baseball, golf and curling are my favourite sports to play. We love to travel and spend time with our families. Above all, I truly love to teach and feel so privileged that I get to build relationships with your children and help to guide them to become resilient, independent, and compassionate young humans.

On this site you will find resources which will help enhance your child's learning and keep you informed about our class. Any online resources I recommend will be made available within the Literacy and Numeracy tabs above. Do feel free to access what is there anytime you like. 

Later, my hope is that you will all join me on a journey toward showcasing our learning on myBlueprint. I sincerely hope that you will find these sites simple and easy to use.
