Conference manager
Conferences are booked through our conference manager portal which can be viewed here https://rvsonline-em.schoolsoft.com/.

Moodle
Moodle is a learning management system designed to organize students’ daily coursework and assignments. Specific daily and weekly responsibilities for students are outlined on teachers’ online portal and discussed throughout the week to support students in completing the learning they are responsible for.

How to navigate courses:
At the top of students’ Moodle Homeroom page, there is a navigation bar where students can access different courses as pictured below. Clicking on one of the courses will take students to the course page.
Accessing and Completing Assignments
Once on a specific course page, students are able to navigate classwork and assignments. By clicking on an assignment, students are able to view the assignment instructions.
Students can then begin the assignment with the ‘add submission’ button and click ‘save changes’ when they are finished uploading or completing the assigned task.
Please contact your child’s classroom teacher if you have further questions about the organization of their specific Moodle site or assignment submission expectations.
PowerSchool
At Rocky View Schools (RVS), we know that parental involvement can have a huge impact on a student’s success. To help parents stay connected to their children’s learning progress, all parents will have access to RVS’ PowerSchool Parent Portal.
A web-based, student information system designed to provide parents with access to real-time information pertaining to progress, grades, activities/tasks, attendance, and more, the Parent Portal will give parents an opportunity to be a part of their child’s learning on a day-to-day basis!.
