A: Yes. However, you will need to install a security certificate to use our internal wifi, since federal law requires our connections be filter fo inappropriate content.  You can find the instructions here:        Windows       or       MacOS

A: First, talk to your teacher, they may have the answer to your question. If they are unable to help, you can email tech@rvk12.org to request assistance. (You can also try Google. Often solutions are already out there, we just have to look for them.) 

A: The fee is our Technology Protection Plan. River Valley is offering the Technology Protection Plan to assist you in protecting the Chromebook Job will receive on the his first day at school. Details about this plan can be found on www.rvk12.org/tech under "Documents" in the "Student Device Handbook". This fee has been added it to everyone's MySchoolBucks account. If the invoice is not paid by September 14 we assume you would not prefer this protection from the district and you will be 100% responsible for any damage to the Chromebook device.
