Beginning Teachers’ Conference
Association staff is planning the 29th annual Beginning Teachers’ Conference. The conference will be held the Best Western Premier Calgary Plaza Hotel and Conference Centre, October 4-5, 2024.
Online registration opens August 4, 2023. Registration is open to teachers in their first two years of classroom teaching who have not previously attended the conference and those teachers new to teaching in the province.

Truth & Reconciliation Books for the Classroom
A new resource has been co-developed by the Indigenous Education Council, the English Language Arts Council, and the Indigenous Education PD Facilitators of the Alberta Teachers' Association. Consider sharing these resources within your classrooms to contribute to the individual and collective process of truth and reconciliation.
