Justice, Equity, Diversity, & Inclusion (JEDI)

JEDI advocates for and promotes Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion in our schools. 

This year we are focused on sharing bulletin board ideas for schools, creating a calendar that promotes diverse celebrations, making and distributing teacher pronoun buttons and completing grants. 

Some key points for the JEDI committee include: gender equity (boys literacy, gender and technology, women in leadership, men in teaching, inclusive schooling...), intercultural education, sexual orientation and gender identity, inclusive language, learning opportunities and fostering inclusivity.
