As Russell County Public Schools plan for the next school year, we have three possible scenarios to consider:  begin school traditionally, virtually, or on an alternate schedule.  Google team leaders, principals, and central office staff are making every effort to  devise plans for each scenario.   Regardless of the plan, new instruction will be taught and assessed.  Our first priority is to ensure teachers and staff are prepared.  

Every school has assigned Google team leader(s) to assist in the training process.  All teachers and instructional aides are required to complete the Google modules listed on the Trainings tab.  Also, supplementary trainings are available for teachers to earn recertification points.  The Google team leader(s) will guide you through this process.  By the end of the summer, every teacher will have the knowledge to create online lessons and engage students in a virtual classroom.
