I am a lecturer in Electronics and Communication Engineering at the College of Science and Technology (CST), Royal University of Bhutan. I’ve been teaching and working with students here for more than a decade, with a focus on circuit design, low-power systems, and applied technologies that can make a difference in Bhutan.
I studied Electrical Engineering at CST before pursuing a Master’s in Electronics and Communication Engineering at IIIT-Delhi. Along the way, I’ve enjoyed exploring research in areas such as digital circuits, landslide monitoring systems, and Dzongkha text-to-speech tools.
At CST, I also help FabLab CST, a space where students, entrepreneurs, and community members can experiment with digital fabrication and prototyping. It has been a rewarding experience to guide projects that turn ideas into practical solutions.
Beyond teaching and research, I’m also involved in professional networks like IEEE and E-Yantra Lab. This role has allowed me to collaborate with colleagues in the region and support events that encourage research and innovation.
I value opportunities to share knowledge, support young innovators, and contribute— in small ways— to Bhutan’s journey in science and technology.
