About Us
Raising the Bar, Inc. is a non profit 501(c) 3 organization established in 2019. Raising the Bar provides opportunities to youth and adults to succeed regardless of their economic or social status. The organization provides workshops and programs to build self-image, goal setting, and mentors those who model future aspirations. The workshops and programs focus on current community needs and provide solutions to those seeking growth. The organization also hosts yearly events giving the community the opportunity to learn about businesses and to network.
Mission
Our mission is to develop, educate, and equip youth to raise the bar in all areas of their life. This is accomplished through programs, events, and mentorship. The organization stresses education, leadership, and taking personal responsibility. We provide empowerment, safety, team building, and build social emotional development skills with participants.
Services
We focus on the whole youth providing programs that equip them to build their body, mind, and spirit. Participants have workshops twice a week in small groups, taught by volunteers inspiring youth to build self-confidence, and other life skills through interactive lessons and physical activity.
